Pilot in preparation
School sends a lot.Clanou reads it all for you.
Clanou reads messages from school — Pronote, eCollège — notes the dates and to-dos for each child, keeps the family calendar, and every evening sends you tomorrow’s plan, right in your messaging app.

The problem
Pronote, the ENT, emails, the class group chat, the note in the school bag…
Information comes from everywhere, often twice, rarely at the right time. And it is almost always the same parent who cross-checks, writes it down and sends the reminders. Clanou takes over that admin work — so nothing slips through the cracks.
What Clanou does
A discreet secretary for school life.
It reads messages from school
Pronote and eCollège, plus anything you forward to it: the club, the mairie, the centre de loisirs. Copies sent to each parent only count once.
It pulls out what matters, child by child
A date, a child, what needs doing and by when. A school trip, a meeting, a form to sign, a cancelled class.
It keeps the “Famille” calendar
Events go into a dedicated calendar, marked “added by Clanou”. Your own events stay untouched.
It answers you in your messaging app
A summary every evening for the next day, and answers when you ask: “What’s on Wednesday?” No extra app to open.
How it works
Three steps, and the rest takes care of itself.
Step 1: You choose what it receives
Your family gets its own Clanou address. You set up a forwarding filter for school emails — about three minutes, with step-by-step guidance — and forward anything else by hand whenever you like.
Step 2: It understands and files
For each message, Clanou notes the date, the child concerned and what needs doing, then adds it to the “Famille” calendar. If it can’t tell which child it’s about, it asks you.
Step 3: It lets you know — and waits for your go-ahead
Every evening, tomorrow’s plan. When something needs doing, it prepares it and waits for your “YES”. Nothing is sent without you.
Your data
What Clanou sees, and what it never will.
School messages are about your children. We designed Clanou to see as little as possible and never act on your behalf without asking.
No access to your mailbox
Clanou never signs in to your email. It only sees what your filters, or you, forward to it.
Nothing goes out without your approval
Replying to a teacher, sending an invitation, filling in a form: Clanou prepares, you approve. An email can’t give it orders.
Your calendars stay private
From your personal and work calendars, Clanou only reads busy times, never event titles. It only writes to the “Famille” calendar.
The AI runs on our own server
During the pilot, messages are processed on our own server in the European Union: they are not sent to any AI provider.
Encrypted, family by family
Each family’s documents are encrypted with its own key. Medical documents are not kept during the pilot: only the useful facts (a date, a deadline) are retained.
Delete everything, for real
You can export your data or erase everything at any time. Your family’s key is destroyed, so even backups become unreadable.
To be fully transparent: during the pilot, Clanou messages you on Telegram, which can see those conversations, as with any chat that is not end-to-end encrypted. Other channels (iMessage, SMS) will follow.
Questions
Frequently asked questions.
Which schools does it work with?
To begin with, schools that write to parents through Pronote or eCollège — mostly collèges and lycées. For everything else — the club, the mairie, the centre de loisirs — just forward the message to Clanou.
Do I need to install an app?
During the pilot, Clanou messages you on Telegram, so you’ll need the Telegram app. The goal is then to reach you directly by iMessage or SMS, with nothing to install.
Can both parents use it?
Yes. Each parent has their own conversation with Clanou, and the “Famille” calendar is shared. If the school writes to both of you, the message only counts once.
Can Clanou make mistakes?
Yes, which is why it does nothing without you: every event it adds is marked “added by Clanou” and can be cancelled with a single reply, and every action waits for your approval.
